BRINSFIELD INKS NEW MAJOR SPONSOR FOR 1999 SEASON

GREENSBORO, NC--- Veteran Pro Modified racer Dale Brinsfield does not believe in letting grass grow under his feet during the off-season. The 41-year old, professional drag racer recently announced a new major sponsorship with a growing mortgage firm, Dylan Mortgage, for the 1999 season. This new alliance between the two cutting edge entities promises wholehearted success.

Dylan's founder and President Chuck Caviness agrees with the merits of bonding with Brinsfield for an IHRA motorsports marketing venture. He explains, "We researched a Winston Cup or a Busch car, but we decided at this point and time that a sponsorship of Dale Brinsfield's team under the IHRA sanction would give us the best bang for our buck. We believe that the IHRA is serious about their success and that is the kind of marketing exposure that we need for our company. But, as good as the IHRA is, Dale is the best investment we could have made. He has the look and personality that will be an asset to us."

Brinsfield completed his most prosperous season to date, last season, with a seventh place finish in the IHRA/Snap-On Tools Championship Drag Racing Series from the Pro Modified season. He bore the colors of the multi-car, Parts Pro team and served as their flagship. He will still retain backing from Parts Pro as an associate.

He will open the season with a new paint scheme consisting of teal, orange and white prominently displaying the Dylan Mortgage moniker. Brinsfield will employ the engine building prowess of Gene Fulton, in an attempt to remain a consistent top half qualifier in the traditional 16-car fields.
