AMA/PROSTAR SET TO RETURN TO THE GULF COAST

Houston, Texas - The last time Texas fans got to witness the excitement of the AMA/Prostar Motorcycle Drag Racing Series was in 1993.

The excitement of 200 MPH Funnybikes, 6 second Pro Modifieds, 7 second "factory hot rod" Pro Stockers, and eleven other categories of dragbike competition will be returning to the Lone Star State and over four hundred motorcycles will be in attendance.

In addition to the excitement on the dragstrip, a manufacturers row will feature chassis builders, product manufacturers and engine builders and fans and racers will get to see up close, the products that many of the manufacturers of the products that racerstop vendors and manufacturers on display to give racers and fans an up-close look at the products that top teams use, and a special paved motorcycle parking area is available for those who wish to ride out for the event.

The 1998 AMA/Prostar Gulf Coast Nationals will be held at Houston Raceway Park on Saturday and Sunday, October 10-11.
