The Indo-French entry Sherco TVS riders Alain Duclos and Florent Vayssade endured the grueling Dakar Rally to see the chequered flag at the end of Stage 13 on Saturday.
While the team started the rally on a good note finishing inside the top 10 regularly but unfortunate issues midway in the stages held them back then on.
Duclos and Joan Pedrero kept them in the hunt for a top 20 finish before the Spanish rider retired while the French rider lost precious time due to helmet theft.
In the end, it was Vayssade ending as the Sherco TVS leading rider in 27th place, 8h17m18s behind the leader. He was classified as 27th in the 180km Villa Carlos Paz - Rosario stage.
Duclos, meanwhile was 42nd overall, 12h37m07s behind the winner with 5h55m30s as penalty time. He finished Stage 13 on 23rd.
Up ahead, KTM's Toby Price won the Dakar Rally from teammate Stefan Svitko and Husqvarna's Pablo Quintanilla, who also took the stage win.
