On December the 20th, the team had a party in Los Cabos, México, presenting to friends and media the team going to the Dakar Rally 2014. Those days were a bit stressful for Team Principal Matt Campbell and Managing Director Paul Clark, as they were flying to Buenos Aires on December the 21st… The adventure was already starting.

While the whole world was getting prepared for Christmas, part of the team was thinking about receiving all the supplies sent months ago for the amazing South American challenge. In the meantime, in Baja California Sur, Mexico, the Operations Director and team´s navigator “Nico” Ambriz is working late hours to get the Baja race cars prepared in order to have them ready for when we come back from Chile for the Baja races. Ambriz will fly to Argentina December the 27th to join Matt and Paul for the last logistic details prior the event.

The rest of the team is fully focused on December 31st, date marked in the calendar to fly to Buenos Aires for the Dakar, joining the rest of the team and receiving the New Year in the air, quite a new and thrilling way to start 2014.

Many things are happening and everybody has the holiday feeling while El Martillo Racing teammates are having the most exiting, different and a bit forgotten celebrations due to having their sight pointed on January the 5th and the Dakar starting line.
