Montreal, July 16, 2003 -- For the very first time, the 2003 Parts Canada Superbike Championship will hold the seventh of its eight rounds at Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant. This first appearance of the national series at the historic Circuit Mont-Tremblant track will certainly be a determining round. Some of the racers mounting the podium on August 15 will have a good shot at the championship on August 31 in Shannonville, Ontario.
Coors Light Tremblant Superbike features the best motorcycle road racers from across Canada, including Quebecers Kevin Lacombe, Pascal Picotte, Francis Martin and Jean-Francois Cyr. Achieving speeds of up to 275 kph on their modified Superbikes, they're guaranteed to stir things up at the Tremblant track.
Come celebrate from August 14-17
If the motorcycle races take your breath away, you can unwind with the latest games from PlayStation. There will lots of music and a rock performance -- details to be announced in the near future.
The public will be able to meet the racers and to view the Superbikes up close, highly modified machines that can achieve amazing speeds with their souped-up engines and slick tires.
