Race Fans for a Cure® is a joint initiative involving Ford Credit, Dale and Kelley Jarrett, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The program is designed to increase awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection, and to provide a way for fans to support the Komen Foundation and its mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease.
Race Fans for a Cure® booths will be at 600 Festival in Charlotte from May 23 through 25; at Dale Jarrett, Inc., in Newton, N.C., on May 24; and at Lowe's Motor Speedway on May 25 and 26.
For a $1 donation, fans receive a keepsake enamel pink ribbon pin and can personalize a pink paper ribbon to show their support. All proceeds go directly to the Komen Foundation.
