March 12, 2004 (San Diego, Calif.) --- TC Kline Racing driver, Nick Esayian, has pledged to donate 100 percent of his winnings to the Intrepid Fallen Hero's Fund for the 2004 season. This nationwide foundation provides financial relief to families of military personnel who lost loved ones in defense of our country in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Esayain, who will be driving a TC Kline Racing BMW 325Ci sponsored by Total Trolley, commented, "There was no question for me... I am proud of all those folks and their families. We certainly wouldn't be racing cars if they were not standing up against those that wish, and in some cases succeeded, in doing the United States harm," states Esayian. "I live in San Diego with Marines and Sailors. You see them everyday. This is my way of saying thanks."
Esayian has been a successful frontrunner in various classes in SCCA National competition, NASA, Neon Challenge Series. He ran two Speed Touring Car races in an Acura Integra Type R in 2002 and holds an SCCA Central Division Regional Championship.
Kline has a long history of success winning National Championships in autocross, club racing, IMSA and the SCCA. Last year's efforts were focused on winning the Grand Am Cup Team Championship where the team competed with BMW's newest sports car, the BMW Z4 Roadster. The company also operates a specialty tuner division through which BMW enthusiasts can obtain the same custom-designed TC Kline parts that are used in the team's race cars.
"Total Trolley, a hand truck, dolly, flatbed cart, and step ladder all in one tough, easy to store product is currently being sold on television and online (www.totaltrolleyracing.com). It is a fantastic product that we are proud to promote," states Esayian.
The SPEED World Challenge season will make its first standing start of 2004 at Sebring International Raceway for the fourth-consecutive year as part of the 52nd Mobil1 Twelve Hours of Sebring week March 17-20.
