Bullring drivers to appear at pediatric clinic

LAS VEGAS - NASCAR Late Model driver Jason Allen, Grand American Modified driver Dan Fitzgerald and Outlaw Stock driver Kirk Miller will be on hand at the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center of Nevada's pediatric clinic for children with bleeding disorders this Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway has teamed up with the drivers and the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center of Nevada to provide a unique experience for the estimated 40 children attending the clinic.

"This is a huge deal," said Jennifer Buis of the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center of Nevada. "The children will be visiting doctors all day, they (drivers) will help get their minds off of visits and help them deal with the situation."

The center is located near University Medical Center at 2020 Palomino Lane.

The Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center of Nevada, founded in 1997, offers diagnosis and management for individuals of Nevada with inherited or acquired bleeding disorders including hemophilia, von Willebrand's disease and platelet disorders.

For more information regarding bleeding disorders please contact the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center of Nevada at (702) 385-2702 or visit www.htcnevada.org
