Fans Have Opportunity To Be Photographed With Favorite Drivers And Help Injured Drivers At The Same Time At Nationals

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (AUGUST 8, 2000) - Sprint car fans attending this year's Amoco Ultimate Knoxville Nationals will have an opportunity to be photographed with their favorite drivers and help injured drivers at the same time. The non-profit World of Outlaws (WoO) Benevolent Fund, Knoxville Racing Charitable Organization (KRCO) and National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation organizations have teamed up to host Studio Photopia in the Nationals Trade Show from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. each day next week.

National, regional, local and retired sprint car drivers are donating their time for one-hour photo sessions in the trade show, which will again be held in the 4-H Show Pavilion near Knoxville Raceway's fourth turn pit entrance. The professionally-taken photos will cost twenty dollars and be instantly available for autographing by the drivers. They will also be packaged in a keep-sake covering by the Chicago-based Studio Photopia company. The driver photo schedule will be posted at the trade show and at the National Sprint Car Museum throughout the week.

Anyone seeking further information on this joint effort to benefit injured drivers should contact the museum at 641-842-6176.
