Brazilian drivers will take part in a Christmas charity race.
Brazilian Motorsport will have a new kind of event this year, a charity race were the spectators will donate 2 kg of food for the campaign "Christmas without Hunger" in Brazil. The race will be promoted by InternetSpeed Promoções and PITSTOP, sponsored by Schincariol and Park Food.
A total of 50 drivers were invited to the race. At the end of the event, the first champion of the "Encontro Nacional de Pilotos" (National Driver's Meeting) will be crowned.
There will be five heat races, with the top two of each going to the final.
Among the confirmed drivers are Enrique Bernoldi, Tarso Marques, Ingo Hoffmann, Chico Serra, Alex Dias Ribeiro, Felipe Giaffone (IRL Rookie of the Year), Juliano Moro, Luciano Gomide and many more.
The media will also have their own races, along there will be some national artists, rock singers, olympic sportlers, and will compete against the drivers in another race, using 4-stroke engine karts.
This event will also mark the first racing exhibition in Brazil, with cars from all brazilian series represented (F3, F-Chevrolet, Stock-Car, Stock-Car Light, F-Truck, Rally, Paris-Dakar and Auto-Cross) and a ceremony to honour the brazilian drivers that made their way up to F-1.
The race will be held on November, the 25th, in Itu, a city 50 miles (80 km) west of São Paulo, in the International Arena Schincariol Go-Kart Track. Nelson Piquet is their CEO.
