RacingJunk.com, a division of Raceway Media, LLC, has signed up to sponsor Greg Zipadelli's Crusade for Kids Charity Snowmobile Ride, which is scheduled to be held January 23rd and 24th in Old Forge, New York.
Zipadelli, the crew chief for Joe Gibbs Racing's No. 20 Home Depot Chevrolet NASCAR Nextel Cup team and driver Tony Stewart, is hosting the second annual Crusade For Kids ride. Proceeds from the ride will benefit various children's charity organizations.
Ryan Maturski of Raceway Media didn't need much convincing to help support the cause.
"It's a great event that lets the racing community give back to less fortunate children, and whenever we can help out with something like that, we should do it," he said. "We're looking forward to participating in this event, not just because it helps a great cause, but because it's going to be a great time with great people."
Zippy's Second Annual Crusade For Kids Charity Snowmobile Ride includes autograph sessions with NASCAR stars from both the driver's seat and the pit box. The ride itself will be held Saturday, January 24th, beginning and ending at The Ole Barn restaurant. Dinner will follow, and then a raffle and silent auction will be held. Music and dancing round out the festivities on Saturday night.
The event has sold out, ensuring a full day of riding the trails as well as plenty of activity for both the raffle and auctions. This means the ride will be a rousing success for raising money for children's charities.
