NASCAR FANS, EVERNHAM MOTORSPORTS CONTINUE TO HELP REEL IN BIG BUCKS TO BENEFIT THE LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY
Third Round of Exclusive eBay Auctions to Begin Thursday

STATESVILLE, N.C. (June 28, 2005) -- NASCAR fans need not cast their lines any further than this opportunity to land one-of-a-kind, autographed NASCAR team memorabilia. This Thursday, June 30, at 9 p.m. (EST), Evernham Motorsports and PPG Automotive Refinish are sure to make a splash when they kick off the third exclusive eBay auction to benefit the Charity Chopper Fundraiser, helping to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

This month's featured prize is an American Rodsmith, Evernham Signature Series bass fishing rod (model #ZRSB68). The rod is autographed by Ray Evernham, president and CEO of Evernham Motorsports, as well as Bill Elliott, driver of the No. 91 Stanley Tools Dodge Charger in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series.

This rod features the official Evernham Motorsports logo, as well as an image of Elliott's No. 91 Stanley Tools Dodge Charger racecar. It's a medium-action rod, perfect for use with spinner bait or jerk bait. More details on this auction item can be viewed at www.ebay.com/charitychopper.

This auction will conclude on the evening of Monday, July 5, so don't be left out of the bidding. Last month's Charity Chopper Fundraiser auction generated 75 bids in just five days, ending in a final bid of more than $1,300 for an autographed Kasey Kahne winner's circle hat and photo.

The eBay auction is part of the Charity Chopper Fundraiser, an on-going fundraising effort sponsored by Evernham, Dave Perewitz of Perewitz Cycle Fab, and PPG Automotive Refinish. Throughout the year, eBay will feature multiple one-of-a-kind items with proceeds benefiting the LLS.

New highly prized collectibles will be introduced in charity auctions on the 30th of each month, culminating in September with the charity auction of the spectacular Charity Chopper, an awesome, one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle built by Dave Perewitz, one of the nation's foremost bike builders

100 percent of proceeds from the sales of these collectible items will go to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.leukemia-lymphoma.org) and its ongoing efforts to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

"The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has been incredibly important to me and my family, and I'm committed to finding new and unique ways to help raise funds for the important work they do," Evernham said. "An old proverb says that each great journey begins with a single step. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has made a great impact on millions of lives, and it will continue to do so with the support of contributions made by each and every one of us. Whether large or small, each donation gets us one step closer to finding a cure for those in need."
