'CRAFTSMAN FOR A CURE' FEATURES UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES WITH NASCAR DRIVERS AND VARIETY OF SILENT AUCTION ITEMS

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL. -- To see NASCAR drivers up close and personal, the place to be during Charlotte race week will be the 'Craftsman For a Cure' charity event at NASCAR SpeedPark at Concord Mills on Tuesday, May 23.

More than 30 NASCAR drivers and personalities have committed to participate in the event, which will benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and the Victory Junction Gang Camp.

'Craftsman For a Cure' -- a charity event hosted by Craftsman Motorsports and Bobby Hamilton Racing -- will give race fans the opportunity to meet and race fender-to-fender with some of their favorite NASCAR drivers. Several events during the night are sold out, but a limited number of tickets are still available for fans to be part of this unique night.

VIP tickets for dinners with Bobby Hamilton, Brian Vickers Kenny Wallace and other NASCAR stars are available for $75. Fans can race with Kurt Busch, Darrell Waltrip, Kenny Schrader and others on various SpeedPark tracks. Tickets are $20 or $40, depending on the track selected.

Tickets are also available for autograph sessions with a large number of drivers representing the auto manufacturers. Autograph tickets are $10.

"We certainly would like to have a big blow-out on this thing and be able to give back to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and the Victory Junction Gang Camp," said Bobby Hamilton.

In addition to participating in a variety of activities with NASCAR drivers, the 'Craftsman For a Cure' charity event also will feature an impressive array of items available in a silent auction that day. Items scheduled to be auctioned off include:

* A specially-designed Sam Bass 'Craftsman For a Cure' Gibson guitar

* Autographed Tony Stewart Home Depot uniform

* Autographed Mike Skinner Albertson's uniform and photo

* Autographed Charlie Daniels fiddle and photo

* Craftsman Patriotic American Eagle 26" tool chest and roll-awayautographed by NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers

* Autographed Patrick Dempsey 'Grey's Anatomy' DVD

* Three two-night stays and dinner at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas, Nev.

* Ticket packages to various races

* Autographed sheet metal, crew shirts, die casts and much more!

Race fans will have the ability to bid on these items from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET at the NASCAR SpeedPark at Concord Mills on Tuesday, May 23.

Fans must be present at the close of the auction to claim their item.
