Clinton Twp., Mich., Cinjo Racing will carry the Promise Village: Home for Children colors for the June 16 Detroit Grand Prix weekend

Promise Village: Home for Children provides a caring residential treatment program for hurting youngsters and their families recovering from abuse. "I heard Dr. Tim Coldiron being interviewed on the radio about Promise Village: Home for Children. I didn't quite get the whole story about what they did, so I placed a call to him. It peeked my interest because I find it hard to believe that anyone could abuse or throw away a child," said Joe Tranchida who together with wife Cindy own Cinjo Racing.

The level of care involves placing a child in a safe, stable and therapeutic environment, while nurturing their emotional, spiritual, educational and physical growth. Promise Village's program focuses on individual and group therapy, with a specialized family focused treatment component.

Dr. Tim Coldiron is the Founder and Executive Director, "Joe became interested in our program and offered to help publicize our home by carrying our logo on the Cinjo Racing Trans-Am car driven by Tommy Archer". Promise Village is located on a 70-acre parcel of land in northern Oakland County, Michigan.

The children from Promise Village will be attending the Cinjo Racing open house on Wednesday and meet driver Tommy Archer and attend the race weekend. Cinjo Racing will also donate a portion of their winnings from the Detroit event.
