"One of a Kind" Champ Car Cobra Scooter Now Auctioned by CARA Charities on ebay.com from Dec. 5-12

Indianapolis (Dec. 3, 2004) -- CARA Charities and Cobra Scooters, LLC, importers of the Cobra line of motor scooters including Vento scooters, Longchang ATVs, Classic Retro scooters, Euro scooters, Cobra Motorcycles, and many more powersports products, are auctioning a special "One of a Kind" Champ Car Cobra Scooter on ebay.com from Dec. 5-12, 2004.

The special Cobra Motors scooter made the rounds of the Champ Car World Series paddock during the 2004 season and has a "Champ Car Only" addition to its paint.

While most race fans get their driver autographs on a sheet of paper, the entire field of Champ Car drivers, including current series champion Sebastian Bourdais, 2003 champion Paul Tracy and 1996 titleholder Jimmy Vasser, has put their autograph on the Cobra Motors scooter! Now that's a unique item for "at-the-track" transportation.

Interested bidders should check the ebay.com website for details on the upcoming auction. The CARA charities website (www.caracharities.com) also has details.

"We would like to thank Cobra Scooters for this great donation," said Mary Lou Bogner, executive director of CARA Charities. "It is so different and unique for the racing fan. We appreciate Cobra's generosity in assisting our organization. The scooter will be available this coming week on ebay.com and should raise a good amount of money for charity."

"We thought that this would be a great way for fans to get their hands on a truly unique item," said Cobra Motors president Bill Pierce. "I think fans will be excited at the chance to own this one-of-a-kind scooter. We look forward to watching the auction unfold and we hope that it raises money for this deserving charity"

Cobra Motors is a growing presence in the scooter industry. For more information on Cobra, please visit their website at www.cobramotors.com. Mackey Marketing Group, Inc., a veteran motorsport marketing and promotion agency, is the firm that developed the giveaway campaign.

CARA Charities was founded in 1981 and has distributed over $3.5 million dollars to numerous racing and community organizations. CARA serves the community through charitable work and promotes the friendship of all those involved in the motor sports family.
