A WORLD TEST IN VIEW OF DAKAR

Pharaons Rally gets back this year, and rightfully so, in the FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup. A major acknowledgement for the JVD International race which has gained outstanding reports also by FIA and FIM observers attending the race on 2009.

Our secret is simple and is resumed in one word; passion. The passion of Daniele Cotto, Marco Bucci & C., that have built up a rally along the years where focus is on pilot. Safety, some small comforts at the bivouacs and care for each pilot needs are the must of JVD International which come before any other aspect.

For these reasons the Pharaons Rally is not only the most beautiful race of the FIA and FIM World Cups, but it is also the perfect test for men and vehicles which will start at the Dakar 2011. The most famous and difficult

World race takes place for the third year in South America, but Egyptian deserts are a complete and hard test to get ready for the overseas match.

PHARAONS IS GOING TO BE THE ONLY RACE IN EGYPT

Even if a well known organization keeps on advertising a rally in Egypt for September, JVD remarks that the Pharaons Rally is the only race in Egypt for 2010.

A press release already issued last December by ATCE (the Egyptian National Sport Authority referred both by FIA as well as by FIM) has pointed out that such event was not going to be authorized at the scheduled date of September.

The Egyptian Tourism Minister ha also explained through a newsletter of middle February that any Tout Terrain event had not to be in conflict with Pharaons Rally and therefore should be scheduled at least six months far from the Pharaons race.

Finally the FIA -- through an email message of its Commission President, Mr Derek Ledger, issued last March 9th - has ordered such September event advertisement to stop while labeling it "a fictitious rally".

SAND, DUNES AND A LOT OF NAVIGATION

The JVD International scouting staff is already at work since a while, fit out with computer, maps and satellites, in order to design on paper the track 2010. A long and complex work which ends into an always new track, never usual, but at the same time linked with the tradition which has taken the Pharaons Rally to its success, a path last thirteen years.

What we can advance is that Pharaons 2010 - even if short of one stage -- develops over a route about 2,800 kilometers, a lot of sand, a lot of off-road, the usual outstanding landscapes which only the Egyptian desert is able to offer. Starting from the end of April, the JVD International scouts put into effect what beforehand planned, with the track mapping and the issue of road-book, edition number thirteen.

ARRIVAL ON THE SEA SHORE

The start of the Pharaons Rally 2010 starts as usual from the frame, unique in the world, of the Giza Pyramids, amazing setting which applies alone for all the efforts done to be at the start of the Egyptian marathon. What changes this year is the Rally arrival, this time on the seaside, in one resort near El Alamein, place of history facing a crystal sea.

A pleasant novelty which allows for a refreshing dive once ended the rally hard work. One day after the arrival, vehicles leave for Alexandria shipping, while the evening unwinds with the prize giving ceremony.

20% DISCOUNTED FEES

There are many reasons for which "Pharaons is different". One especially is perhaps more felt. Even if being in a moment of recession, Pharaons 2010 has in fact decided to change direction, not with compass or GPS, but reducing entry rates averagely around 20%. It has not been an easy task, but with the help of its Egyptian partners, JVD International has made this important step toward its pilots.

The first deadline for registration has fallen due on March 31st. Though you can profit also by the following rates still convenient when compared to the past, as well as by the fixed rate flight/hotel, which has never been so convenient. The Pharaons 2010 is going to be the race with the best rate quality/cost over the world panorama... If you don't mind!
