D'ALBERTO READY QUEENSLAND RACEWAY

Tony D'Alberto will attempt to extend his Series lead this weekend at Queensland Raceway for Round 4 of the 2007 Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series.

After a solid start to the season, which has seen him score a second and two wins in the first three rounds respectively, D'Alberto will be pushing for a hat-trick of wins this weekend.

Although holding a handy 59-point lead D'Alberto has not rested in the break between rounds.

"We have been on the track testing in the past few weeks," he said.

"There is a long way to go in the Series and we have to keep working hard if I want to be on top of the points at the end."

Tony is excited by his Series prospects and the support of his sponsors in 2007.

VACC (Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce) came on board as a sponsor for the Winton round and recently announced that they would support the team for the entire 2007 Series.

"It is great to have Victoria's peak automotive body on side for the whole year," D'Alberto said.

"We are working really hard to make sure the arrangement is beneficial to them and it is great to be rewarded for our hard work.

"If it was not for major sponsors like GMAC, PPG, VACC, Smart City, and the host of smaller sponsors there is no way we could be winning the Series right now."

On track action begins Friday and will run through to Sunday afternoon.
