Queensland motor racing champion David Wood has today announced a major sponsorship arrangement with leading men's skincare brand, L'Oreal Paris Men Expert, as the major sponsor of the #22 Wilson Brothers Racing Subaru WRX Sti, set to attack this weekend's WPS Bathurst 12 hour.
The distinctive orange L'Oreal Paris Men Expert colours will adorn the sides of the number 22 car, which will be driven by Wood, former 12-Hour class winner Chris Delfsma, and tarmac rally veteran Gary Tierney in he once around the clock blast.
The car will form one part of a three car Wilson Brothers Racing attack on the race.
Wood is no stranger to the motorsport scene, having won many titles over the years in his native Queensland, with success in the competitive Formula Ford, Improved Production and Gemini classes.
Launched in 2006, L'Oreal Paris Men Expert is the worldwide leader in men's skin care, comprising made-to-measure skincare solutions designed specifically for men's skin, whatever his age and lifestyle.
The range offers everything a man needs to look great and feel great - including cleansers, revitalizing washes, moisturisers and more.
Wood is pumped up for a top result at 'The Mountain', and is looking to clean up in more ways than one!
"The 12 Hour continues to grow in stature, and the competition this year is going to be fierce," said Wood.
"This is the third year in a row Wilson Brothers Racing has competed in the 12 Hour with the Subaru WRXs, so the crew is well on top of the development of the car, including reliability and race strategy.
"To have L'Oreal Paris Men Expert join us in our Bathurst endeavours is truly fantastic.
"It is great that we have been able to introduce a highly reputable, global brand into the Australian motor sporting landscape, we are proud to represent them, and we are looking for a top result."
L'Oreal Paris Men Expert brand manager, Gwen Jaouen, is equally excited by the partnership.
"This is a unique opportunity for us to connect with our customers in an environment that they enjoy and are passionate about," said Jaouen.
"The Bathurst 12 Hour seemed very natural for the brand -our products are designed for maximum performance, excellent endurance and great results in tough conditions - just like our L'Oreal Paris Men Expert Subaru."
Wilson Brothers Racing team principal Cam Wilson is confident of a top result for the team at Bathurst.
"To have our new partner in L'Oreal Paris Men Expert on board for our Bathurst 12 Hour attack is testimony to the success we have in the recent past, and we are looking to continue our strong form at Bathurst," said Wilson.
"Since Bathurst 2008, we have been focused on having a strong race car for Bathurst, and we are leaving no stone unturned to ensure we come away with a top result."
The WPS Bathurst 12 Hour will be held on Sunday February 22nd.
