Nash lands top BTCC drive

Rapidman managed James Nash has clinched a deal to race in the 2010 British Touring car championship with top squad 888 racing, the ex factory Vauxhall, multiple championship winning team, in the car which 2008 champion Fabrizio Giovanardi won the first two rounds of the 2010 championship.

James, who made a big impression on his BTCC debut in 2009 is delighted to be taking to the track in such a competitive car, and is relishing the opportunity to challenge for race wins and working towards a top finish in the championship.

"Missing the first races whilst we sorted the deal out obviously means that I will be playing catch up, but I'm looking forward to racing at the front and making a fight of the championship" commented James, who is now preparing for his debut at Rockingham Northants on 25th April.
