The British Touring Car Championship recently announced it is investigating how to incorporate hybrid technology into its future machines. In doing so it's following the higher echelons of motorsport, while also revealing risks for its grassroots.

Think about them: they aren't easy partners. Motorsport is a risk-positive sport, and health and safety is risk averse.

Motorsport and the environment.

Think about that combination: they are not easy bedfellows. Do you want smoky fossil fuels or do you want to plant trees? Where do you want to go?
