Andrew Jordan to sit out third race at Snetterton after showing signs of exhaustion

Andrew Jordan's dreadful weekend has gotten that much worse.

During FP1 yesterday, defending BTCC champion Andrew Jordan suffered a big accident at the exit of Riches. He was taken to a local hospital for precautionary checks, but was eventually cleared to race.

Jordan finished a disappointing 16th and 15th in the first two races today and won't get the chance to redeem himself in the third race.

He was showing signs of exhaustion following Race Two, apparently due to the exhaust fumes that found their way into the cockpit after contact. As a result, he is being forced to sit out the final race of the day, which is a massive blow to his championship hopes.

This stands to be his worst weekend points-wise since June of 2010.
