The company will provide support to the team throughout their 2011 and 2012 campaigns both from a ‘Technical Partner’ perspective and through attendance at race meetings. Redstone CEO Tony Weaver said: “We are delighted to be working with the Airwaves Racing Team and are looking forward to a competitive season. Forging a strong partnership will enable us to get involved and share the exhilaration of the BTCC championship with our clients, staff and partners.”

David Bartrum, Airwaves Racing Team Principal, said: “I’m over the moon to have Redstone onboard, they have a past history in touring cars, having worked with the old Honda team. I’m proud to have them join our team and it’s a fantastic opportunity to work with a like minded company.”

Airwaves Racing continue their preparations for the BTCC opener at Brands Hatch on April 2-3, with a pre-season test at Cheshire’s Oulton Park on Wednesday 2nd March.
