Tmc's two Ferrari 360 N/GT race cars complete successful shakedown test at the Millbrook Proving Ground ahead of round two of the FIA GT Championship in Magny Cours.

TMC's two Ferrari 360 N/GT race cars completed a successful day's testing at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, UK, yesterday (Tuesday 22 April) in preparation for round two of the FIA GT Championship in Magny Cours, France, this coming weekend (26/27 April). After an action-packed season opener in Barcelona last month, which resulted in TMC leading the N/GT Team Championship with 14 points, Magny Cours represents an opportunity for drivers Kelvin Burt, Jamie Davies, Tim Mullen and Darren Turner to consolidate the team's lead and work towards the dream result of a one-two finish this weekend.

"Whilst we were pleased with our performance in Barcelona, we know that there is a lot more to come," commented Rod Benoist, TMC's Team Manager. "Our day at Millbrook yesterday proved the merit of testing ahead of the next race as we were able to identify a minor problem with the gear linkage on one car and, whilst rectifying this, also ensure that our second car will not experience the same concern. The time we spent at the proving ground means that we can maximize every available moment of on-track time in testing in Magny Cours on Friday and the team leaves for France tomorrow with high expectations."

John Newman, TMC's Commercial Director, continued, "Our performance in Barcelona enabled the Sky Sports TV cameras to capture some exciting moments for our documentary programme.* Episode One of 'Ferrari Racing' was aired whilst we were in Spain and the feedback we have had has been tremendous. The film crew will be with us again in Magny Cours and so the pressure continues but the team is enjoying the exposure and will delight viewers with their performance once again, I'm sure."
