Stokoe Up For More Races With GNM

Melbourne (UK) based GT driver Stephen Stokoe will undertake a limited programme of races with GNM this year, most likely behind the wheel of the team's Porsche GT3RS.

The talented 29 year old made his debut for GNM at the Zhu-Hai FIA GT race at the close of the 2004 season.

Speaking today about the agreement he said "I am very pleased to race again with GNM this year. I work as a mechanic on the Porsche so its quite nice to be able to race it as well!"

The 1999 Proton Coupe Cup Championship Winner continued "We haven't yet decided what races I will do. We are making a lot of improvements and updates to the car so I think it will be a good prospect in the British and FIA GT categories".

Team Boss Graham Nash commented "Stephen is a very quick driver as well as being a very accomplished mechanic and long standing team member. I am very pleased he has this opportunity to prove himself on-track".

Stokoe's previous GT experience lies with the Porsche and Marcos marques. He raced in the British GT with CBH Motorsport, then progressed to the Cirtek Porsche GT2 Evo and Porsche GT3R. His best result to-date came at Vallelunga in the ELMS series, scoring a fine 3rd place with partner Charlie Cox.

Support for the Belgian born driver comes from Euroswiss Racing, Compair, and team partners Click Culture and Canaqua Water.
