CAR 113 - DUQUEINE/LESSOUDIER/ROUSSELOT/LACROIX

Session 1 - Gilles Duqueine took car 113 for the first session in the gathering twilight - in what was the first GT night race for the team. He was immediately quick and within 0.5s of Reid's earlier benchmark, posting 3rd fastest time in GT3 at that point. He handed over to Stephane Lacroix- Wasover who suffered a driveshaft failure on his out lap and was dumped in the gravel at Pouhon.

Session 2 - The driveshaft was replaced in the 30m interval between sessions and Lacroix-Wasover went on to complete his qualification laps. In turn, Gael Lessoudier and Benoit Rousselot took the car and did their necessary laps without further problems.

CAR 114 - REID/KHAN/VAN SLPUNTEREN/DUMAREY

Session 1 - When Reid took the car he set out after the almost unbelievable time set by Diego Alessi with a vengeance, chopping 1.5s off his previous best. His verdict on the car "it's fine". 2nd fastest was a good start to the evening's running for Car 114.

Session 2 - The car went out in the safe hands of Ian Khan who did the required job and qualified. Paul Van Splunteren was next in and did his bit to qualify the car. Sensation of the session though was Maxime Dumarey who was in the groove in the Pouchelon Viper and posted a quick time on only his second flying lap. Towards the end of the session, Paul Van Splunteren went back out to get some laps in and to make sure the lighting was adjusted to best effect.

The team now faces preparation for a Friday which includes up to 1 ½ hours of qualifying and a GT3 Championship race for all 3 Pouchelon Cars. and all this right before a 24h race!
