Wieth Racing used the 4 week break between the race in Donington and the 24h race at Spa for some fundamental improvements. Especially the big problem of understeering could be solved by modifying the set up. Additionally a new engine was delivered. The V12 is now engineered and built up by the Italian company Oral Engineering. The team around Franco Antoniazzi and Mauro Forghieri did a fantastic job and constructed an extraordinary high tech unit. Oral engineering is managed by well known Mauro Forghieri, former technical Director of the Ferrari Racing Management. He won 12 F1 World Championships with Ferrari.

With the help of these changes, Niko and Wolfgang could improve there lap times in Dijon for 3 seconds compared to the last test there. Also Elmar Grimm, a very experienced German GT driver, used the oppurtunity to do his first test in the F550 GTS at Dijon. He was very impressed of the performance of the Ferrari. He will support Team Wieth Racing at the 24h of Spa.

With this very competitive driver line up, and a car that finally seems to be competitive as well, we have great hope to stand the challenge of Spa.
