PAOLO RUBERTI'S EXPECTATIONS FOR THE 2008 FIA GT

The opening of the 2008 FIA GT season is approaching, the first race scheduled for the next 20th of April on the British track of Silverstone. After the positive experience of the previous years together with Racing Team Edil Cris, Paolo Ruberti is ready to face the incoming season with a new team, the BMS Scuderia Italia, a team with a lot of history that does not require any presentation.

The driver from Verona will share the cockpit of the F430 GTC number 77 Ferrari with Matteo Malucelli, forming a crew that announces to be one of the most competitive.

Paolo Ruberti:

"This new challenge with BMS Scuderia Italia is extremely exciting. We had some positive indications from pre-seasonal tests and for this reason we reckon we can be within the battle for the front positions, even if several crews will certainly be able to get on top of the classification. The feeling with the team has been immediate and so was that with Malucelli, a quick driver that I always regarded very highly.

"No matter how things will go at Silverstone, I think we will need at least three races before having a clear idea of who can really aim at the title. Concretely, our objective is to win some races but I wouldn't mind to have higher targets in the final part of the season."
