ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport with Dominik Schwager and Nicky Pastorelli on a very good position five at Navarra - Best season result so far fort he racing stable from Saxony
Friedersdorf/Navarra (rol/ot) The German Team ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport reached the points ranking for the third time at the eights season event of the FIA GT1 World Championship at Navarra (Spain). Nicky Pastorelli (Netherlands/Italy) and German Dominik Schwager (Munich) have been on a great position five on Sunday afternoon (24th of October) in their Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 RS-V with starting number 38 at the one hour Championship Race. After an early drop out at the also one hour Qualifying Race on Sunday morning they showed a furious catch up race from position 18. The sister car with starting number 37 with the German Marc Basseng (Neusalza-Spremberg) and Christoph Bouchut (France) that has been on position eight in the morning didn't have luck in the afternoon. Bouchut has been in between two collisions at the beginning of the race on the new 3,993 Kilometer long track and discarded after that with a damaged gear box a few laps later. The winners of the races at Navarra have been Ricardo Zonta (Brasil) and German Frank Kechele (Ulm) in the Reiter-Lamborghini Murcielago.
"Of course the whole team is happy about the fifth position and the so far best racing result this season of ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport. That has been a great catch up race of Dominik and Nicky. We found a very good Setup and had a great pit stop. Everybody is very proud", tells Marc Basseng that is the team manager of the team from Saxony as well.
"Especially because we had a few problems again. Starting with trouble on the transmission at the time training and then the troubles with the gear box after the collision with other drivers that just had a hard driving manner again." Some hours after the race car #38 got a 30 second time penalty to the total time und was listed now on position nine.
Now the Team ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport is preparing the cars at Spain for the two final season events at South America. The GT1 race cars will go on the three weeks journey by ship to Brasil on Tuesday (26th of October). The second last event is scheduled from 27th to 28th of November at Interlagos. One week later (4th / 5th of December) there will be the championship final at San Luis (Argentina).
