Joel, in spite of a big car`s improvement with the larger rear wing and an high performance, is still waiting to concretize what he and his team-mate show during the week-ends.

After a six place in qualifying and a big car`s improvement due to the larger rear wing, Swiss Italian duo was unable to confirm their speed. In fact, today, when Paolo was reaching the grid with #7 Saleen, the rear left rim broke and it caused quite a lot of damages in that area, such as in the rear-wheel suspension. GNM #7 rejoined the race after forty minutes, but after few laps, since the car was quite a lot damaged, Swiss Italian duo had to say once for all goodbye to their race.

"Obviously it`s very frustrating for myself and Paolo to see at the very beginning of the race to disappear a possible good result. But I guess we should take the positive side from this week-end and I mean that the car improved a lot with the larger rear wing and of course this improved as well our way of working on the car. That said, I guess that we should go anyway to Lourdes before Brno!."

We will see Joel back in action with his Saleen on June, 26th , at Brno.
