ICSport CEO Christian Bouas is proud to announce the signature of an historic new partnership that will see ICSport, Veritas, Emblem Racing and the reigning World Champion of the Le Mans Series in the LMP2 category, Olivier Pla, as well as all the drivers of ICSport, come together.
It was during the Top Marques Monaco supercar show, on the 15th of April, that all four entities formed a partnership which will be initially centred on the fine tuning and development of Olivier Pla with the Veritas' road and race car. The prestigious German car manufacturer has the ambition of entering the FIA GT1 World Championship in 2011 with the Veritas RSIII Coupe, which will be launched at the Nurburgring July 9-11. To achieve this goal they will count on the platform that ICSport will provide them, especially their racing drivers.
Founded in the middle of last century, Veritas is a prestigious car manufacturer, associated with elegance, motorsport and working at a high level. It was back in 1947 that the company conquered its first national title, on the Hockenheim circuit. Today, Veritas is based on the other legendary German track, the Nurburgring, and it is here that the project will take flight on July 9 when the first meeting of members from ICSport, Emblem Racing and Veritas will take place.
The program for the World Tour will include the presentation of cars and the organization of the three partner companies, two days of testing for the members of Emblem Racing as a crew racing drivers by ICSport as well as individual timed laps, then a day of rest and relaxation around the golf course. This World Tour will cement the association between the new partners as well as being the ideal occasion to create and maintain a relationship of trust and complicity between the members of Emblem Racing and the professional drivers from ICSport around prestigious sport cars. "The finalization of this partnership is a great satisfaction because its fall-out will be rich and plentiful and a benefit to ICSport drivers," said Christian Bouas, CEO of ICSport, "Together with the CEO of Emblem Racing, Stephan Van Vlokhoeven, and from Veritas, Michael Trick, we wanted to unite all of our energies and skills to create this synergy and I think we now have a solid foundation for our joint project."
