Lacko and Vojtech well disposed for Nogaro
After a successful premiere in the European FIA GT3 Championship at Brno the crew of Adam Lacko and Stepan Vojtech is heading for their semi-final double-race of the popular series. They will start at French Nogaro this weekend once again with Corvette Z06R GT3 of the MM Racing Team. Both racers are going to focus on the qualifying which was their weak point on the home ground.
Both of them know the French circuit from their spring tests. Adam had started at the European Truck Cup there, which was, however, before the circuit reconstruction last year.
Adam Lacko: "Before me there are two weekends' races, firstly European FIA GT3 Championship at Nogaro, secondly, a week later, British GT Championship at Donington. I'm looking forward to both of them. In France Stepan and I are again driving Corvette Z06R GT3 of the MM Racing Team, and I do hope we can manage some points just like in Brno. In England I will drive for the Modena Team which introduced me at Autumn Prix of Brno for the first time. We all became interested, the team crew are proffesionals as well as nice chaps. I love driving their Lamborghini Gallardo GT3."
Stepan Vojtech: "We were testing at Nogaro this spring, so I know the circuit in France as I did in European FIA GT3 Championship at Brno. Apart from the Czech races we'll try to improve qualifyings, they were really bad at Brno. The Team's Corvette Z06R GT3 is getting under my skin. What really helped me were so called "clients' days" after the Brno races. Adam and I were driving different team partners, we devided approx. a hundred rounds of Brno circuit. I played with the car a great deal, which did help me."
