Ni Amorim will make its return to the FIA GT Championship at Donington, UK, this weekend, at the wheel of a Paul Belmondo Racing Chrysler Viper GTS-R, a deal that will also see him racing in the last race of the FIA GT Championship at Estoril.

After a good start to his 2003 campaign with Freisinger Motorsport ( Porsche GT3-R) that yelded a 3rd place at the Rolex Daytona and a win at Magny Cours, France, Ni Amorim went on to race in the Spanish GT Championship with Meycom Motorsport (Marcos LM600) achieving 2 poles, 2 overall wins and one second place so far. Ni Amorim has led every race but small problems have resulted in DNF's when in a position to win.

Ni Amorim has joined the Paul Belmondo Racing to help Italian Fabio Babini, a team regular, in his quest for the drivers Championship.

Even though Ni's most recent activity has been at the wheel of Porsche's, he has extensive VIPER experience, having been part of ORECA's line up at Le Mans, Sebring, Daytona, Adelaide (Millenium Race) as wheel as driving for the crack privateer team Chamberlain Motorsports in the FIA GT Championship, where he was usually the only driver of a private Viper team to worry the ORECA cars.
