Bucharest - After the deception of the 24hours of Spa Belgian Racing has arrived in Bucharest for the sixth race of the FIA GT championship. The Gillet Vertigo .5 abandoned the race with no propulsion at the bottom of Eau Rouge. Can it happen again in Romania?

Tony Gillet: "The component that broke on the car in the 24hours did not undergo a proper heat treatment by one of our subcontractors. The part was indeed stronger but lacked sufficient elasticity and that is the reason this piece broke. Together with the right heat-treatment we redesigned slightly the part in order to make it even stronger."

Belgian Racing had their best result of the season in Bucharest last year (11th). Will we see a repeat performance this year?

Bas Leinders: "Last year we were able to take advantage out of the poor weather conditions, at the end of my stint I was running in 6th position. A bright sun and high temperatures are forecasted for this weekend...so we will concentrate on beating the two Moslers in order to gather as many points as possible for the G2 standings."

First results on Saturday, as there will be two one hour races this weekend.
