Team Revolution ready for Round Four

Team Revolution Wheels are eagerly looking forward to the forthcoming Isle of Man International Rally after both drivers impressed on their recent tarmac outings, with Euan Thorburn taking the Pirelli Star Drive on the Jim Clark Rally and Rob Swann finishing second in Group N on Rally Barbados!

Whilst Rob Swann and co-driver Darren Garrod have always gone well on the Isle of Man and should be on the pace in their Subaru N14 this weekend, MSA British Rally Championship newcomer Euan Thorburn has never tackled the daunting Manx stages before and has emphasised his need to make perfect notes ahead of the rally. With regular co-driver Claire Mole away the 23 year old Scotsman has enlisted the aid of Campbell Roy, close friend and occasional co-driver for the late Colin McRae, to call the notes this weekend.

Warren McKiernan, team principal, is looking forward to returning to the island too; the Isle of Man is one of the toughest rallies in the calendar but both Rob and Euan have had strong results on tarmac recently, thus we are aiming for a strong showing here, with team points being the main objective this weekend!

The 2009 Isle of Man International Rally is the fourth round of the MSA British Rally Championship. The competitors will tackle twenty special stages over two days, and with the unforgiving nature of the narrow island roads inch perfect precision is a key element, making this a true drivers rally.
