Citroen Racing Trophy is GO!
From its very first events, the Citroen Racing Trophy has met with success. In Portugal, Ireland, England and France, all the competitors have been vying with each other closely for the upper hand. The ability to mix and match events, the variety of the rallies on offer, and some great prizes are just some of the reasons that have led to the widespread popularity of the Trophy.
The well-known quality and competitiveness of Citroen’s products - notably the C2 Super 1600 and the C2-R2 MAX - also goes some way towards explaining why the entry list in each Trophy series just seems to keep on growing.
There are always plenty of C2-R2 MAXs at the start of each event, as they strike the perfect compromise between performance and cost. The potential of these cars allows their drivers to target victory in Group R as well as the overall two-wheel drive classification.
The MAXs feel equally at home on the asphalt roads around Epernay at the Vins de Champagne Rally, for example, as they do on the gravel forest stages of the Bulldog Rally in England, claiming wins that once more underline the success of the Citroen Racing Trophy.
The C2-R2 MAX is both quick and easy to drive, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced drivers alike. With new events coming up soon in Poland and Belgium, the Citroen Racing Trophy’s success story is only just beginning...
At the Torrie Rally Paulo Antunes showed just how competitive he was already at the wheel of the C2-R2 MAX.
