Signs Three-Year Deal with Hydro-Prop, Inc.

(Lake Hamilton, Fla.) - Hydro-Prop, Inc. announced today that the Bluewater International Hydrofest Committee has signed an agreement to host an Unlimited Hydroplane race for the next three years. The first annual Bluewater International Hydrofest is scheduled for August 20-22, 2004 on the beautiful St. Clair River, between St. Clair, Michigan and St. Clair Township, Ontario.

St. Clair hosted an Unlimited Hydroplane exhibition this past June with four Unlimited teams to gain support and media activity for the possibility of hosting a race for 2004. The one-day, mid-week, exhibition attracted approximately 13,000 fans (to both the American and Canadian sides of the River) and was successful in producing the desired results for the event organizers, bringing back the worlds fastest race boats after a forty- year absence.

"We are delighted to add St. Clair International Course to the Unlimited Hydroplane schedule for the next three years," said Bart Garbrecht, CEO of Hydro-Prop. "We were very impressed with the June exhibition and are delighted to be returning to the St. Clair River. St. Clair is a picturesque city and we look forward to building on the success of the exhibition. The Bluewater International Hydrofest has a bright future within the sport."

"We have had a very successful 2003 Budweiser Unlimited Hydroplane Series Presented by Boat Shopper® magazine season," continued Garbrecht. "Numerous Unlimited teams spent countless hours in the off-season preparing new or refurbished hulls for this season. Those efforts have produced some of the most competitive racing this sport has witnessed. The addition of the St. Clair race is added incentive for teams as they prepare for next season."

"We are proud and thrilled to be able to host the Unlimiteds in St. Clair," said Tom Acton, President of Bluewater International Hydrofest, Inc. "The Unlimited Hydroplanes proved to be very popular with our fans at the exhibition. They seemed to identify with the action packed deck-to-deck racing of these powerful boats. If we attracted 13,000 fans on a Tuesday for the exhibition, I can't wait to see how many fans turn out for an official race weekend."

"Signing a three-year agreement with Hydro-Prop displays our commitment to the sport and our event," continued Acton. "As evidenced from the exhibition, we have the infrastructure, volunteers and community support in place to handle this international Unlimited Hydroplane event. We believe we have added an enormous attraction and economic benefit to St. Clair County, Michigan and Lambton County, Ontario."

Located less than an hour's drive north of Metro Detroit, the City of St. Clair is rich in history and small town charm. St. Clair is the home to many industries, including Cargill Salt, one of the world's leading salt producers and several major state-of-the-art plastic manufacturing companies, and many more. St. Clair is proud of its maritime heritage and connection to the St. Clair River, one of the busiest commercial waterways in the world. Palmer Park with nearly 1,800 feet of park and boardwalk on the River will make an ideal setting for this race.
