During the final lap of his second last race of the day at CMRA Round 2 at the Texas World Speedway, Braeden Ortt hit a wet part of the track. The track was weeping water while making a pass and Braeden tried to save it by riding off onto the grass where he hit a ditch and was violently launched off his bike. He was up and alert but ended up with an ambulance ride to the College Station Medical Centre to find out he had suffered a broken collarbone.
