ARNHEM, Holland (December 12, 2002) -- Clear Channel Entertainment's Motor Sports division today held a special testing session at Gelredome in Arnhem, Holland for the 125cc and 250cc riders competing in THQ World Supercross GP presented by UFO Plast.

The afternoon testing session was created to give the teams and privateers an opportunity to keep up with their usual training schedules.

"Our crew worked overtime to get the Dirt-Wurx-designed track finished two days prior to the race, which allowed the 125cc and 250cc riders the opportunity to test their bikes," said Todd Jendro, director of supercross, Clear Channel Entertainment -- Motor Sports. "Being 4,000 miles away from home makes training a little difficult, so we gave them the chance to not only test their bikes but stay in shape."

The training session featured the entire line up of teams and privateers, including factory Yamaha's Tim Ferry, David Vuillemin, Chad Reed, factory KTM's Jeremy McGrath and Grant Langston, factory Suzuki's Sebastien Tortelli, Honda's Mike LaRocco and the entire field of privateers.

"Today's training session was perfect," said Ryan Clark, who rides the #37 machine for Team Solitaire. "We were able to ride the entire track for two hours in addition tomorrow's regularly scheduled practice session. The track is exactly the same as the supercross tracks in America, which made the session that much better for all of us that are away from home."
