Championship Cup Series of Florida season-finale set for December 7-8.
MIAMI, FL (12/4/02) - The season-finale for Championship Cup Series of Florida Motorcycle Racing will take place this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. A total of 20 races involving 38 championship classes will be held at the Speedway's road course on Sunday, December 9 with practice and time trials set for Saturday, December 8. In addition to the motorcycle racing action, an eight-member motorcycle stunt team will perform for fans on Sunday.
"The season-finale for CCS Motorcycles this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway is an outstanding event for fans of all ages," said Curtis Gray, President Homestead-Miami Speedway. "Not only will fans be treated to one of the most exciting forms of motorsports, but they'll also be able to able to experience the Speedway's paddock and garage area with admission to this event. If you've never seen these athletes reach speeds of nearly 200 miles-per-hour and drag their knees near the asphalt around the curves, then here's your chance to witness this amazing spectacle."
General admission tickets will be available at the gate. Fans should enter through the South Vehicle Tunnel off of Palm Drive (Gate 18). A two-day pass for the event is $20. Sunday-only tickets are $15, while Saturday-only tickets are $10. Children under 12 are admitted free throughout the weekend. Access to the Speedway's paddock is included with admission and parking is free of charge.
