Willoh Takes Home Regional Arenacross Championship

AURORA, Ill. (March 11, 2005) - Clear Channel Entertainment's Motor Sports division today announced that Honda's Jeff Willoh, of Moreno Valley, Calif., won the 2004-2005 Regional Arenacross championship, taking home a $6,000 points fund check and the number 1 plate.

Willoh clinched the championship at Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C., with three races to go, winning nine main events and six dash for cash races on the season. He battled with rookie sensation Jake Weimer, of Rupert, Idaho, throughout the year en route his first-ever Regional Arenacross championship.

"I was really surprised at how competitive this series was," said Willoh. "I never even heard of Jake Weimer before the season started, and I know who he is now. We battled all season long. I plan on putting together my own team for next year and defending my title."

The 2004-2005 arenacross series is the largest indoor motorsport in the world, and this year arenacross will celebrate its 21st anniversary. Top amateur and professional riders from across the country will compete for fame and fortune in the National Arenacross Series. Professional riders will compete for more than $2,600,000.00 in purse contingency, performance bonuses plus a Point Fund
