Bad luck for Carlsen.

Essencial Motorsport driver Jesper Carlsen took seventh place in the last race at Silverstone Sunday. In the first race he got caught in an accident and had to retire.

Friday Jesper Carlsen qualified his car 26th overall for both races. These were not positions he was satisfied with, but due to different problems with the engine, he was positive that he could gain some positions in the races. But a race incident spoiled his opportunities in the first race.

- I couldn't get pass the accident in front of me, and the front wheel suspension got damaged. I had to retire just after the race started. We had a bit of unluck this weekend and now we are going to work with the car and find the speed we need so we are ready to gain some more points at Knockhill this weekend, Jesper explains.

The Danish racing driver, who is still among the topdrivers in the Scholarship Class, is convinced he can get some more points at the Scottish track.

- There is alot of potential in the Toyota enginge and in the car, and I'm sure we can find some more speed this weekend, he says.
