Kerr stays in touch.

Uncharacteristically off the pace in qualifying, Alan Docking Racing driver Robbie Kerr didn't have high hopes of staying in touch with his fellow championship leader James Courtney in Sundays two British Formula 3 Championship races.

Courtney had managed to continue his qualifying form to take pole twice, with Robbie down in 9th and 4th for his starting positions. However typical, fighting drives from Kerr resulted in 6th and 3rd as race results. With Courtney failing to capitalise on his pole positions the championship is still wide open, the final points standing after the weekend showing Courtney leading on 61 points with Kerr second on 52.

Robbie said "After not getting it all together in qualifying, I am pretty pleased with getting a bagful of points. James hasn't got too far away, and we shall be after him for the next couple of races, watch this space!"
