Chris Green aims for perfection at the Milwaukee Mile.
Montréal, Qc, May 28, 2003 -- After a six week hiatus, the Barber Dodge Pro Series will resume competitive action at the Milwaukee Mile Centennial 250 Presented by Miller Lite, which will be held at the Milwaukee Mile May 29-31. Despite the fact that he is still searching for his first career Barber Dodge Pro win, Chris Green (Chris Green Motorsports/DAC Aviation/Stelvio) comes into the Milwaukee race with great confidence. Two strong finishes at St. Petersburg and Monterey, have allowed Green to take 15 points and the eight spot of the Championship standings.
"I'm gonna try as hard as possible to win the race, but if I'm not able to do it, I will try to get as many points as possible," said Green
"The series is so competitive that at any given race there's ten to 12 guys capable of winning. Our plan is to keep focusing on our own plan and not worry about the other drivers. With so much room for passing and relatively little banking, Milwaukee always makes for an exciting race."
This race will be his first experience on an oval circuit.
"I am very much looking forward to our first and only oval race of the season at Milwaukee. Both myself and my engineer, whom I have a great deal of confidence in, are anticipating a very, very strong result."
