Montreal based DAC/STELVIO-Chris Green Motorsports is pleased to announce that it will be entering the 2003 Barber Dodge Pro Series. After completing an extremely successful 2002 season in F1600 racing which culminated in a brilliant win at the Fall Classic at Mont Tremblant, Chris Green is looking forward to the challenges of the 2003 season with the Barber Dodge Pro Series

The first race of the season is scheduled for Saturday 22nd in St. Petersburg Florida, at the season opening Champ Car World Series St. Petersburg Grand Prix with practice and qualifying to take place on Friday 21st.

The Barber Dodge Pro Series is the entry level professional racing series on the ladder leading to the top level Champ Car World Series. The 2003 season takes drivers and teams to ten circuits in Canada, the United States and Mexico. The vehicles used in the series are Reynard Dodge 98e single seaters, powered by a 265 hp Dodge V6 engine, capable of speeds up to 275 km/hr. In total, the Barber Dodge Pro Series pays out over $1 million U.S. annually in prize money, contingencies and scholarships.

Green's successful racing career has taken him to Canadian and Provincial championship titles in Karting at the top echelon of the sport and the 2002 Quebec championship in Formula Ford 1600. Chris was also awarded the 2002 Quebec FF1600 Rookie of the Year award. Chris is flanked by a strong team consisting of team manager Ron Green and Robb Barr head of marketing & sales.

Quotes:

Chris Green, Driver

About the Series:

"There are a few reasons why I have chosen the Barber Dodge Pro Series this year, the first is because of the amount of exposure that I could receive with C.A.R.T, as well as the one on one relationship that I can have with the driver coaches and mechanics. It is a good opportunity for me to learn about the set-up of a fully winged car as well as working with some of the top engineers in the industry.

About the first race:

"I think that the first event will be a free for all, and I think that it will give a good indication of who will be fast and who will be the true championship contenders of the season. The track will show the true colors of many of the drivers since it is new to them and it will allow people to see who are the fast learners and who aren't. I am hoping that things will go well for me at the first race, I think that I have a lot to prove and I think that this will be a good place to do so".

Ron Green, Team Manager

"Our goal for this race is to finish in the top 5 and if Chris continues the level of performance he has shown in pre-season testing this will be very achievable, although there will be 26 other drivers trying to show their stuff as well. This is a brand new circuit for everyone and will be one of only two new tracks this year, so everyone will have to learn the track layout and that is good for us as it gives none of the more experienced guys an advantage."

Robb Barr, Head of Marketing & Sales

"We are proud to be working with our team partners as an integral component of their marketing plans, promoting their brands to a captive audience of over one million spectators this year. As for our driver, Chris is a charismatic, bilingual team player who has demonstrated his competence in representing our partners with energy, professionalism and integrity. We're looking forward to an excellent 2003 season."
