FAYETTEVILLE, GA - United Speed Alliance Racing has reached an agreement with Multi-Media Sports and LiveOnTheNet.com to broadcast 19 races on the 2001 USAR Hooters ProCup Series schedule. Each race will be broadcast live on the USA Racing Network. The radio network was created in 2000 to promote Hooters ProCup Series events live via satellite throughout the country.

WPCC-AM in Clinton, South Carolina will once again serve as the flagship station for the network and HOST Communications will once again provide satellite feeds for the broadcasts. WCCA-FM in Shallotte, North Carolina has joined the broadcast family with negotiations with six more stations ongoing.

"We are very excited to broaden our coverage of the Hooters ProCup Series via the internet," said USAR president Gene Cox. "We are fortunate to have Steve Ulrich on our team this season to enhance our website and communications department. He worked on this project and made it happen."

Ulrich and Bruce Parris, President of Multi-Media Sports, negotiated a deal to bring the project to life. LiveOnTheNet will provide the infrastructure for the internet streaming live from their production facilities located in Huntsville, Alabama. The races will be broadcast live and then archived so users can listen at a later date. The broadcast can be heard from three different sites by any user with internet access. The official USAR website, www.usarprocup.com, or go to www.liveonthenet.com, or visit www.multi-mediasports.com, can all provide access to the broadcasts.

"We are excited about this new area of interest for our company," added Parris. "Previously we have concentrated on college and high school athletics, but we look forward to this association with USAR. This is our first venture into any type of professional sports, but we don't expect it to be the last."

"We have a long relationship with Multi-Media Sports and we are glad to provide the streaming technology for MMS and USAR and their webcast of the Hooters ProCup Series," said Tim Erwin, executive vice-president of webcasting for LiveOnTheNet.com.

Access to the webcast is free but LiveOnTheNet.com asks that first time users register and provide some information to gain access. User privacy is strictly guarded and any information gathered is not shared.
