Kevin Camper Named Director of Sales and Marketing For Texas Motor

FORT WORTH-DALLAS (May 18, 2004) - Texas Motor Speedway Director of Business Development Kevin Camper has been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing. Speedway president Eddie Gossage made the announcement today.

Camper and his staff are responsible for the sale of sponsorships, suites, hospitality, billboards and other signage, program ads as well as the maintaining relationships with speedway clients and sponsors.

"We are fortunate to have someone of his capabilities on our staff," said Gossage. "As the director of business development and tickets, he has taken his position to a new level with his innovative and aggressive ideas. With the addition of another NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race in 2005, we are beginning a new chapter for Texas Motor Speedway. We look for Kevin to lead our sales department in the same way as new opportunities become available."

Camper, a 1993 graduate of Liberty University, joined the speedway in August of 1996 as ticket manager. Prior to that, he served as season ticket coordinator for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club. He was promoted to Director of Tickets at Texas Motor Speedway in 2000.

Camper has been instrumental in streamlining the camping and ticket sales operation, and he has provided creative new opportunities for fans that purchase single event or season tickets.

In February 2003, he was promoted to Director of Business Development, continuing to oversee ticket operations as well as possible new business ventures for the speedway.

"Under Kevin's guidance, the season ticket campaign has become a real focal point for our fans," said Gossage. "As our fan base has continued to grow, Kevin has continued to develop new strategies for reaching even more potential ticket buyers. He's also been instrumental in the development of our new speedway website."

Jason Bowling was named Director of Tickets for the speedway. Bowling has been with the ticket office and headed up credentials for the speedway since 1999.
