FORT WORTH-DALLAS (January 9, 2001) - Three of the most recognizable sports celebrities in Fort Worth-Dallas are helping unveil the newest affordable luxury seating at Texas Motor Speedway. Dallas Stars winger Jamie Langenbrunner, Texas Rangers outfielder Rusty Greer, and Dallas Cowboys defensive end Ebenezer Ekuban joined speedway general manager Eddie Gossage in showing off the new Victory Lane Club.

Texas Motor Speedway will host a Victory Lane Club Open House for the general public on Saturday, January 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

"We developed the Victory Lane Club to give our fans another choice in seating," said speedway general manager Eddie Gossage. "In the Victory Lane Club, fans can enjoy pit passes to all the races, a wide variety of food and beverage choices, an unobstructed view in a festive climate-controlled atmosphere, and a variety of other amenities. There are only 17,000 seats remaining on the back straightaway for the April Harrah's 500 NASCAR Winston Cup race. The Victory Lane Club represents the only way fans can still get a seat on the front straight."

The all-new Victory Lane Club features 3,200 seats in the Turn Four upper and lower level suites. Fifty suites, stretching from the north end of the grandstands into Turn 4, comprise the new Victory Lane Club. Fans will be able to visit a number of food vendors by strolling from one suite to another through the club.

In addition, Victory Lane Club members receive special race day amenities such as VIP parking, VIP pit pass, complimentary race program, subscription to the Speedway Today newsletter, special season ticket holder party, preferred season ticket buyer discount, free two-week membership at The Speedway Club, 10% discount for all Speedway World merchandise, and a special $100 discount per ticket (12 seat limit) for 2001.

Texas Motor Speedway donated 10 season tickets to Victory Lane Club to the favorite charities of Rusty Greer, Jamie Langenbrunner, and Ebenezer Ekuban.

Greer is presenting his seats to the Natural Resource Foundation, a charity he avidly supports through various fundraising opportunities. Langenbrunner donated his 10 Victory Lane Club seats to Children's Medical Center of Dallas. Senior vice president for development David Krause and communications coordinator Jill Hassman of Children's Medical Center of Dallas were present at the news conference to accept the donation.

And, Ekuban donated his club seats to Happy Hill Farm Academy/Home in Granbury, Texas, with Happy Hill founder Ed Shipman present to accept the donation.

Victory Lane Club season seat prices are $995 per seat for the first two rows and $895 per seat for rows three and four. Tickets can be purchased by contacting the speedway ticket office at (817) 215-8500 or visiting the speedway website at www.texasmotorspeedway.com.
