STAMFORD, Conn. (March 31, 2000) -- To help kick off its fifth year on the air, Speedvisiona selected Cotter Group (www.cottergroup.com) to promote and publicize its 24-hour cable television network.

Cotter Group will aggressively target car, boat, airplane, and motorcycle enthusiast organizations, publications, and events to establish Speedvision as the leading television source for vehicle entertainment and information.

The Charlotte, N.C., company is the largest motor sports marketing communications agency in the United States. Current clients include NASCAR, Mercedes-Benz USA, DaimlerChrysler, MichaelHoligan.com, Bob Evans Restaurants, McDonald's, Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, and the World Karting Association.
