The Connecticut Blood Bank is adequately stocked thanks in part to a blood drive sponsored by the American Red Cross and the town of Salisbury, Conn. Unofficially 74 pints were safely drawn and 39 of them came from Skip Barber Staff according to Nancy G. Sills, Canteen Chairman.

Many members of the Skip Barber staff in Lakeville, Conn took time out of their day to donate blood as well as pizza for all the volunteers and other donors.

Drives such as these, however small, go a long way toward ensuring that there is blood available for those in need. More can always be done and the entire Skip Barber organization encourages everyone to actively support their local Red Cross Chapter.
