SONOMA, Calif. (November 28, 2000) - Frank Gullum has been named Manager, Sponsorship Sales and Services, at Sears Point Raceway, it was announced by raceway officials.

Gullum comes to Sears Point Raceway at an exciting time as the facility embarks on a $35 million modernization plan that will transform the raceway into one of the premier motor racing and entertainment venues in the world. Some of the plans include sponsorable fan venues, permanent garage facilities, pedestrian tunnels, improved roadways to reduce traffic congestion and construction of scenic hillside terrace seats.

"We are excited and fortunate to have Frank coming on board," said Tim Schuldt, Vice President of Sales/Marketing at Sears Point. "His track record of closing fully integrated motorsports deals, providing superior customer service and helping sponsors realize a strong return on their investment is a terrific addition for us and our sponsors."

Gullum joins Sears Point Raceway with a vast motorsports and performance racing industry experience, most recently with Millennium Sports Marketing in Sacramento. There he managed sponsorship sales for New Hampshire International Speedway and a variety of TNN Motorsports programming including NASCAR and the Pennzoil World of Outlaws. Gullum graduated from California State University at Chico with a Business/Marketing degree.

"I'm excited to be joining the staff at Sears Point Raceway. This is a tremendous facility and a great opportunity for both our fans and sponsors," Gullum said.

Gullum and his wife, Linda, will relocate to the Bay Area from Sacramento.
